Jane Seymour, born Joyce Penelope Wilhelmina Frankenberg on 15 February 1951 in Uxbridge, England, is a British‑born actress, author and visual artist whose career has spanned stage, film and television from the late 1960s onward. She adopted the stage name Jane Seymour after the Tudor queen, moving from uncredited early work to substantial television and film parts.
