Date Of Birth: August 2, 1943
Real Name: Max Wright
Height: 5ft 11in (1.80m)
Max Wright played Willie Tanner, the long-suffering but good-natured social worker whose family took in the alien ALF in the NBC sitcom ALF (1986-1990). His portrayal of a man trying to maintain family normality while hiding an extraterrestrial in his garage provided much of the show's comic tension, and his exasperated reactions to ALF's antics became one of the series' running jokes.
...Wright had an extensive stage and television career before ALF, appearing in numerous productions and earning a reputation as a skilled character actor. After the series ended, he continued to work in theatre and television, appearing in various productions including Mork & Mindy and The Sting II. He passed away in June 2019.
