Roger E. Mosley gained widespread recognition through his role as Theodore 'TC' Calvin, the helicopter pilot and Vietnam veteran in Magnum, P.I., the hit CBS series that ran throughout the 1980s. His portrayal of TC brought warmth, loyalty, and a grounded presence to the show's ensemble cast, making him a fan favourite throughout the series' eight-season run.

...Prior to Magnum, P.I., Mosley had built a solid career in blaxploitation films and television during the 1970s, including a memorable role in Leadbelly (1976). After the series ended, he continued to work in television and film. He was also known for his work as a writer and producer. Mosley passed away in August 2022, leaving behind a legacy as one of television's most dependable character actors.
