Douglas Barr played Howie Munson, the loyal sidekick and fellow stuntman to Lee Majors' Colt Seavers in the ABC action-adventure series The Fall Guy (1981-1986). His portrayal of the enthusiastic, somewhat naive partner provided comic relief and a foil for Majors' more experienced character, and the two actors developed a natural on-screen chemistry that helped make the show a popular hit throughout its five-season run.

After the series ended, he moved primarily into directing, working behind the camera on numerous television productions.
